What has this opportunity to play in the UFL meant to you?
This opportunity to play for the Birmingham Stallions has been an answered prayer. I am excited to play the game I love so much again.

What are your hopes for this season?
It is exciting to be a part of a successful program, and I hope to compete for a championship with them against high level competition. I have family in Alabama, and I am looking forward to being able to play in front of them with the Stallions.

Who do you already know on the team? And how?
I am fortunate to have played in college with Jace Sternberger at Texas A&M and am excited to play with him again.

What has the off season looked like for you?
This offseason has been full of watching my beautiful 1-year-old daughter grow up, and I’ve spent time with she and my wife. We are lucky to live next to family, so every day is eventful. I also like to go out and play golf when I find the time.

Tell us something we may not know about you.
Most people probably don’t know that I am legally blind in one eye. I was struck with a baseball in my right eye when I was 10 years old and had retinal detachment surgery shortly after. Fortunately, it did not affect my peripheral vision and my left eye overcompensates for the loss of vision.

I also can solve a Rubik’s cube in under 2 minutes.

Three things you can’t live without.
Three things I can’t live without are my relationship with Jesus, my family, and golf.
