What has this opportunity to play in the UFL meant to you?
Playing in the UFL has been a blessing. It’s given me the opportunity to continue doing what I love at a high level, compete with some of the best players, and be part of a winning culture with the Stallions. The league has allowed me to grow as a player and a leader while showcasing my talent on a big stage.
Best memory from being a part of the Stallions?
Winning back-to-back championships, without a doubt. There’s nothing like celebrating with your brothers after months of hard work and sacrifice. The bond we have in that locker room is special, and those moments of lifting the trophy together are unforgettable.
What has the off-season looked like for you?
The offseason has been a mix of training, coaching, and giving back. I’ve been running my own training program, Chosen1 Academy, where I work with young athletes to develop their skills, especially running backs. Through my Chosen1 Recruiting service, I was able to help one of my athletes secure three football scholarship offers, which was an incredible moment for both of us. Seeing young athletes get opportunities to further their education and careers is just as rewarding as any success I’ve had on the field. In addition to that, I’m teaching middle school PE, continuing my master’s degree, and preparing to start my doctorate in Global Sport Leadership next fall.
Tell us something we may not know about you. Hidden talent(s)?
I’m a pretty good cook! I love throwing down in the kitchen. I’m a solid cook.
Give us a Coach Holtz memory.
Coach Holtz always keeps us motivated, but one of my favorite memories is him pulling out his classic one-liners during team meetings. He has this way of making you laugh while also driving home an important lesson. He’ll crack a joke, and then right after, hit you with a message that sticks with you. It’s a gift not many coaches have, and it’s part of what makes playing for him so special.
