Stallions Stories: Madre Harper

Position: Cornerback

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - MAY 25: Cornerback Madre Harper #36 of the Birmingham Stallions reacts after a play during the second half of the game against the San Antonio Brahmas at Alamodome on May 25, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas

What has this opportunity to play in the UFL meant to you?

It gave me a chance to keep competing at a high level and continue chasing my dreams.

Best memory from being a part of the Stallions?

Honestly winning the UFL championship. In my career, I’ve never made it to the championship to anything besides in little league football. So, to go all the way and win, felt really good and I saw all that hard work really paid off.

What has the off-season looked like for you?

For me, growing my private security business, training and being in MRI Tech School

Tell us something we may not know about you. Hidden talent(s)?

Love photography! And, I am actively taking photos.

Coach Holtz memory

The way he talks about being physical, I grew up on that old style of football and when he gives us those speeches before the game it brings me back to the days when I was kid - no care in the world just flying around and I take that energy into the game.
