Arlington Renegades Kickoff the Annual State Fair of Texas

ARLINGTON, TX (September 25, 2024) - The Arlington Renegades in partnership with the Dallas Sports Commission, joined Big Tex and professional team mascots from the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the State Fair of Texas annual kickoff. 

Mascots joining the event were Rowdy, of the Dallas Cowboys, Victor E. Green of the Dallas Stars, Champ and Mavs Man of the Dallas Mavericks, Big Tex and others. The day included fun skits with all of the mascots around the fairgrounds, and a photoshoot in front of the 55-foot Big Tex himself. The event was created to gather all sports teams to celebrate the 132nd annual State Fair which opens this Friday, September 27.
