What has this opportunity to play in the UFL meant to you?
The opportunity to play in the UFL has been amazing. To be able to continue my football career at a high level and to create a legacy with this organization are the cherries on top. I truly don't take this opportunity for granted. So many people have the talent and skillset to play in the UFL and the NFL, but not all have the opportunities to do so. I'm grateful that I have been so blessed.
Best memory from being a part of the Stallions?
My best memory with the Stallions must be winning the Championship Game of the USFL Season 1. Winning that game came with a rollercoaster of emotions. From having a significant lead the 1st half, to falling behind early in the 4th. Ultimately, we found a way to secure the win and put an end to the historical and inaugural season for the Stallions. I can never forget the level of joy that we possessed that day. The start of a dynasty.
What has the off season looked like for you?
This off season, I have been playing a lot of pickleball. I played in my first tournament. Sadly, I didn't win, long story. Recently, I have been spending most of my time with my family because we were blessed with a baby boy.
Tell us something we may not know about you. Hidden talent(s)
I have a couple hidden talents. Hands down the best pickleball player on the team. Arguably, the best ping pong player on the team. I am a member of a singing group called the NFL Players Choir. We were a part of America's Got Talent, we performed at NFL Honors, Super Bowl Soulful, and many more.
Give us a Coach Holtz memory.
A Coach Holtz memory that I would like to share is when he introduced milkshake Tuesdays after a win. I think that made everyone's day when we first experienced it. Milkshake Tuesdays really incentivized us to want to win every game down in Alabama. During that time, we were in the hot period of the summer. I loved finishing practice and could look forward to a cool treat.
