Defenders to Host UFL Champion Birmingham Stallions for first time at Audi Field
WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 8, 2024 – The D.C. Defenders today announced its home and away opponents for the 2025 United Football League (UFL) season. The Defenders will play five regular-season home games at Audi Field and five on the road.
As part of the XFL Conference, the Defenders will host the Arlington Renegades, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks, and visit conference rivals on the road at each team’s respective stadium in Arlington, San Antonio and St. Louis. From the USFL Conference, the Defenders will host defending UFL champion Birmingham Stallions and Memphis Showboats and take on the Houston Roughnecks and Michigan Panthers on the road.
“The Defenders are poised to deliver another season of electric spring football at Audi Field,” said Kate Greenberg, Vice President of Team Business and Event Operations. “Whether a returning supporter who has stood by the Defenders since 2020 or a first-time attendee, we invite fans across the region to join us as we pack the stands for the greatest home field in the UFL.”

The UFL kicks off the 2025 spring football season on March 28 with a 10-week regular season, followed by Conference Championship games, and concluding with the UFL Championship on Saturday, June 14. New this season is the addition of a Friday night game each week.
The D.C. Defenders will once again call Audi Field home as the team looks to return to championship form. Season tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday, Oct. 15 at theufl.com. Fans can secure their seats in advance of the public on sale by placing a $50 deposit per seat at theufl.com/tickets.
