Last week, the Houston Roughnecks announced they will play their 2025 season at the University of Houston’s newly renovated TDECU Stadium, home for the Roughnecks in 2020 and 2023. Check out the live announcement on FOX26 here!

What’s New at TDECU Stadium?
- New video board spans 7,200 square feet, making it one of the largest video boards in all of college football
- 160 feet wide and spans sideline to sideline, making it the widest screen in the Big 12 Conference
- It can generate more than 68 billion colors with a viewing angle of 170 degrees
- Additional premium seating options, including new suites and two smaller party decks, with more construction to be completed in 2025 (allowing for 750-800 new suite and club seats, plus a new covered premium seating party deck)
- Other renovations still in the works include the football operations headquarters with a state-of-the-art weight room
