SHOWBOATS TRADE FOR QB DORMADY

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (October 25, 2024) -The Memphis Showboats have acquired quarterback Quinten Dormady in a trade with the San Antonio Brahmas. Memphis sent outside linebacker Jordan Ferguson to the Brahmas in the trade.
Dormady helped lead the Brahmas to a conference championship and a berth in the UFL Championship Game last season. He saw action in seven regular season games as the Brahmas’ signal-caller last season, completing 103-of173 passes for 1,206 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions. He was No. 5 in the UFL in passing yards, despite only seeing action in seven of 10 regular season games. Dormady helped lead the Brahmas to a No. 3 ranking in passing offense to a No. 4 ranking in total offense in 2024.
Dormady played for the Orlando Guardians of the XFL in 2023, where he passed for 1,507 yards and 10 touchdowns with five interceptions. He added four rushing TDs for Orlando that season.
Dormady began his collegiate career at Tennessee and also played at Houston before finishing his collegiate career at Central Michigan. With the Chippewas in 2019, Dormady started 10 games, completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 2,312 yards, with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He led CMU to a berth in the MAC Championship game in 2019 and a New Mexico Bowl berth.
The 2025 UFL season will kick off on March 28, 2025, with a 10-week regular season schedule, followed by two conference championship games, and the UFL Championship Game, which is set for June 14, 2025.
