Prior to the Stallions

• Emerged as a talented multi-sport athlete during his high school years, showcasing prowess in both football and baseball. 
• Excelled as a quarterback at Louisiana Tech University, where he was named Conference USA's 2019 Football Offensive Player of the Year.
• Signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2020, marking the beginning of his professional football journey. 
• Found success in the United States Football League (USFL) with the Birmingham Stallions, leading the team to victory in the 2022 USFL Championship Game. 
• Flourished under the coaching of Skip Holtz at Louisiana Tech. 
• Son of former NFL defensive lineman Kenny Smith, who notably played with the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs 
• Started Game one of the 2023 season for the Birmingham Stallions in the USFL, before unfortunately suffering a season-ending finger injury.
